Purpose of the Assignment:
To provide psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and psychosocial support services to clients. The Psychologist will also contribute to capacity building of staff and support development of mental health programs.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of clients.

Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Design and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs.

Provide crisis intervention when required.

Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

Refer clients to other specialists or services when needed.

Develop psychoeducational materials and conduct awareness sessions.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., social workers, medical staff).

Train and support staff in basic psychosocial skills and mental health awareness.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.

Adhere to professional ethics and safeguarding principles.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
BS/Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field.

Minimum [2] years of relevant experience in psychological assessment and intervention.
-
Strong understanding of ethical and cultural issues in mental health.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
